009: Day 1 (02/08/2017) - To the land of the rising sun!
Thursday, August 10, 2017; 6:03 PM
みんな,こんにちは!久しぶりですね…
Hello everyone! Good afternoon! It's been a while, hasn't it?
Many years has past, and finally I've decided to revive you. How ungrateful of a person I am.
Hopefully I can consistently update you from now on wards. よろしくお願いします。
Let's see, I just came back from trip to Hokkaido yesterday. Yes, you heard me, I finally get to step foot into the country that I've been longing to go - even though it's not the main capital of Japan, but it's still Japan! o(>ω<)o
It was a family trip - that's my only chance to go for an overseas trip, and we followed a tour. Yeah, tour, but it was alright. Though, it was a little of a struggle for us as we were not really that literate in Chinese - the tour guide is a Hongkie and he only speaks Mandarin and Cantonese. Thankfully my mom and I could understand most of his explanation, however it was only mumbles for my dad, he couldn't understand a single word he said. We had to translate them to him, and there were good tour members that actually helped to provide explanation to him, thank goodness for that. (´。• ᵕ •。`)
Here is the itinerary of my Hokkaido trip provided by the tour, Golden Destination.
(ノ´ヮ`)ノ*: ・゚
We were told that we won't be visiting the places listed in the itinerary accordingly, which was true, however we will eventually be visiting ALL the places and of course, we did.
Itinerary states 7 days 5 nights - 2 days are for the flight days as the flight time takes about 7 ~ 8 hours, my butt was indeed sore for sitting that long. Do note, we had to take an extra flight from Penang (PG) to Kuala Lumpur (KL) too. So it was quite hectic, especially on the day we had to fly to KL. I'm sure you are all well aware that AirAsia are known to have their flights delayed, so yeah, our flight from PG to KL delayed for 1 hour, 1 HOUR! Thankfully we didn't miss our flight from KL to Japan, we had 1 hour to spare - we're really grateful for our tour agent for booking our flight from PG with a huge time buffer in case of this occurrence.
Let's enjoy some shots taken for day 1... All of these shots are taken from my OnePlus 5.

008 : Disney movie and Orchestra
Sunday, February 26, 2012; 6:23 PM
Hello bloggie! Blog time! :P
Let's see, what do I need to say...
A few days ago (well, can say it's already almost a week ago), I went to the movies with my best buddies
Gene and
Arvin, my darling
Yeehua (do visit her blog! She just started a new one! :D) and not forgetting my fluffy boy. ♥
We watched a Disney classic called "Beauty and the Beast", in 3D. Yes, in 3D. :D
It really brought back my childhood memories. Re-watching a Disney movie that I watched when I was young. So nostalgic. :)
Okay, continue with another one. Last night, there was a open air concert, an orchestra concert held in my dad's university,
Wawasan Open University. The concert was performed by the
Penang Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO). The theme for the concert was
Cinematic Greats and Jazz and the conductor was
Maestro Woon Wen Kin.
A little bit of info for you guys about me. I used to be in the orchestra, it was previously known as Penang Symphonic Orchestra (PSO) and it was recently renamed to PPO last year. I stopped participating because of the traveling (since I'm staying in mainland and the practices are in Penang island) and time (always held on Friday nights).
I was there early, as I need to follow my dad early. He have to make sure everything is going smoothly.
|
Preparations for the concert |
And it actually rained when they were preparing for the concert. LOL! We thought that it's not gonna work out. But thankfully, the rain stopped. Sadly, we had to use the plastic chairs since all the cushion chairs were soaked.
|
The concert programme |
After a few hours waited, and the concert began at around 8.40pm.
|
So, it begins. :P |
|
Singer name Siti Andy singing Getaran Jiwa written by the late P.Ramlee |
The songs performed were mostly jazz songs and also classical songs. They also performed a few famous pieces such as
Memory from Cat, Beauty and the Beast, Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin (The moon represents my heart) (which was actually sung by
Siti Andy!),
Shanghai Beach (Long ban, long lau. :P), I dreamed a dream, The Prince of Egypt, Selections from the Phantom of the Opera, Selections from the Sound of Music and lastly
Pomp and Circumstance March No.1 (the last song of the night).
And during the last song, there... were... FIREWORKS! :D
|
Fireworks during the song Pomp and Circumstance March No.1 was played. |
It was spectacular, although there were times the fireworks didn't really "exploded" as it was suppose to be.
|
And so, it ends. |
Overall, the whole concert was amazing, and it made me miss playing in the orchestra. :)

NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU~!
*rewinds*
Okay, I will explain from the beginning what happened.
Like every morning, I will check up on my hamsters. But today, there was something different; there was a baby hamster! I saw one baby hamster in the cage. I was excited yet anxious. I wasn't fully prepared to take care of the baby hamster. But that time, I was curious, why was there only 1 baby hamster? I was expecting a lot of them, since I read in the net saying that Syrian hamsters can give birth up to 14 baby hamsters. And that time, I already thought, either the mother hamster or the father hamster ate it. :O
And actually, the father hamster ate it! That time I saw him eating something, which I can't really see what it was, but I had a feeling that it was one of the baby hamsters.
Sigh, I know I have to move the father hamster, but I had to go to work. I had no time to prepare the 2nd cage for the father hamster. All I could do was come back home and move the father hamster. I really prayed and hope that the last baby hamster would survive. But when I came back home just now, there was no sign of it. Sigh...
Rest in peace little one. If only I didn't work. If I didn't go to work, that little hamster might survive. I'm so sorry little one. I should have took a picture of it; in memory of the little hamster who only lived for a day or less.

Love is in the air
Guess what? It's Valentine's Day! :)
Happy Valentine's Day to all the lovers out there, no matter how old you are and how far you guys are from each other! Love shall conquer all!
And for those who are single, well, Happy Single Awareness Day. :X
I received 2 Valentine's Day gifts; one from my darling
Yee Hua (she gave to all of us Cadbury chocolate! :D), and another one is from my fluffy boy.

Woot, hello bloggy! Didn't blog since like.. I think a few weeks ago?
LOL! Lazy to look back. Oh well, continue with this blog! :)
I haz big news! I'm now working, part-time clerk! I'm working for Pen Petroleum which I was placed in Chevron to help them fill in the position while they are finding for a full-timer.
Wednesday - Friday full day (9am - 5.30pm) and Saturday half day (9am - 1pm).
Not gonna say about the pay. Secret~ *winks*
Oh ya! And something big happened! I created a website for
Jaben Audio with my fluffy boy, we actually sold it to the company. They at first just wanted to use the concept, not my whole website. So they payed me for the concept, and not the whole website. But to my surprise, they published it! LOL! Apparently they can't wait for the new design, so for the time being, they published mine instead.
Visit
Jaben Malaysia to view the page. :)
Here is one of the screenshot of how it looks like.
Wanna see how the previous website looked like? Here you go. :P
Teehee. :D

003 : Egg Standing Day? Whut!
Saturday, February 4, 2012; 9:52 PM
Surprisingly, today is Egg Standing Day. LOL! I just got to know this year about this thing.
So many people posted the pictures of them making eggs standing. Since everybody was doing it, so I did it too! :P
Sadly mine stood only for a few seconds before it fell. But my mum manage to made it stand, and for a long time. My mum has more skills than me. LOL!
